救世軍80周年巡遊 S.A. 80th anniversary celebration

今天一早便到黃大仙進行救世軍80周年的巡遊。
I went to Wong Tai Sin early this morning for the SA 80th anniversary
celebration.

我和一些老師們負責代表教育服務部
Our teacher represent Education unit.

我還見到Teresa Lai 和卜上尉呢。
I also saw Teresa Lai and Captain Pu

下午有音樂會，我們學校會出手鈴隊呢。
There will be a concert in the afternoon. Our school's hand belt team will also perform.

今天是公眾假期，所以到了東薈城的Novotel Essence 食自助午餐。食物一般吧，甜品倒是十分精美。

吃壽司 Sushi dinner

今天由於要到沙田進行救世軍 80 週年音樂會的採排工作，

Today I need to help with the rehearsal of S.A. 80th Anniversary Music show

所以並不能回校教學，同學們乖嗎?

So I cannot attend the class, did you behave?

工作約於 5:30 完成，之後和一些老師們

Work finished at about 5:30.

到了荃灣的壽司店食壽司。

Then I had sushi dinner with some teachers.

有一段日子沒有吃壽司了，但這店子的食物好像水準下降了

HAven't had sushi for sometime, but I had a feeling that this shop's quality has fallen.

有一件壽司我們放久了，吃起來乾乾的，壽司還是趁早吃的好。

We left one piece of sushi for sometime, and it dried out quite quickly.

所以我有點怕吃迴轉位，

That's why I don't like sitting at the conveyor belt

因為有一些壽司真的在迴轉有上轉了很久很久......

because you don't know how long have the sushi been left there.

同學們又喜歡吃壽司嗎?

入圍小演員試鏡 Audition for actor / actress

English Lesson: Each and Every

又有人問我英文了，之前我也有用電郵回覆

I used to answer questions about english in e-mail.

但這次我想談的是 each 和 every, 比較多人不理解 

but I think I better write about "each" and "every" here, 

as I think quite a number of student may make mistakes.

很多時候，each和every 也可以解成 "每個" 

Most of the time, "each" and "every" has the same meaning and usage.

e.g.: Every / Each boy has a toy gun ( every = each )

- - - - - - - - - - 

但 each 和 every 不同的其中一個地方是 

But one of the main difference is

each 需要最少兩個, 而 every 需最少三個或以上

"each" needs only two of the object; and "every" needs at least three.

例 e.g.: There are flowers on each side of the road 

(You cannot use "every", because there are only TWO sides, but you can use "both" )

另一個分別是 each 強調「每一個」，every則有「全部」含義。 

Another more distinct difference is "each" means "every single one"

 and "every" has a meaning of "all"

例 e.g.: rain is coming form every directions 

( You cannot use "each", but you can use "all" )

最後, 如果想講 "差不多" (nearly / almost), 那只可以用 "every", 

例 e.g.: I go swimming nearly every Sunday.

(You cannot use nearly each Sunday" )
